West Virginia — Income Shares Model
West Virginia uses the Income Shares model under W. Va. Code §48-13. Both parents' adjusted gross incomes are combined. The child support schedule determines the total obligation, split proportionally. A shared custody formula applies when each parent has at least 35% of time (128 overnights).
